Parrot Points

This page outlines the Parrot Point System used by the Capital Region Parrot Head Club in order to properly and effectively distribute any perks that are passed on by our parent organization.

Serve as a member of the Board of Directors:

  • - Points Awarded on January 1st
  • - Points Awarded on July 1st

    Organize a Charity Function - This includes heading up this clubs participation in another group's charity event

    Participate in a Charity Event - This includes preparation functions

    Recruit New Members - Points are awarded for each member recruited

    Attend a "Business" Meeting

    Attend a Social Event or Happy-Hour

    Attend a PHIP Sanctioned Event (Convention, MOTM...)

    Points will also be awarded for any items donated to our raffles.  The Board of Directors will award these points on an item per item basis.

    The Board of Directors may give out additional single points for other activities.

    The Rules:

    Tickets will be offered for sale to the highest point earners.  If the club is allotted 30 tickets, the top 30 point earners, in good standing, will be offered them first.

    Each eligible member will be offered a single ticket.

    The point year runs from concert to concert.

    Points may not be carried over from year to year.

    Points may not be traded, sold or otherwise disposed of.

    Points are forfeited if member fails to remain in good standing.

    In fairness to all members, this point system was created to reward those that have donated their time, efforts and energy in the areas of community service and environmental preservation.  As with anything else in life, you reap what you sow.
